You can now connect AI agents and applications to your Sourcegraph v6.8 instance's code search through the new official Sourcegraph Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server. Available on Enterprise plans, this experimental feature provides AI agents and applications with programmatic access to your Sourcegraph instance's code search, navigation, and analysis capabilities through a standardized interface.

Please note that this feature is experimental and might change or be removed in future releases.

TLS Remove experimental status from tls.external setting and deprecate code-host certificate settings

experimentalFeatures->tls.external is not experimental anymore. The old setting is still respected, but customers should move to the new top-level tls.external setting. The certificate setting for Bitbucket server, GitHub, and GitLab has been marked as deprecated, the tls.external setting should be used instead and is the only correctly working setting. Both will be removed in a future release.
